Website terms
Clear terms for using this website.
Last updated 31 July 2026. These website terms do not replace the written quotation, rental terms or booking confirmation for a specific service.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply when you browse this website, submit a moving quote request, send an enquiry, build an inventory or request moving supplies or Eco Rental Boxes from Shepherd Removals & Deliveries.
2. Quote requests are not bookings
An online request, inventory volume or indicative calculation is information for assessment. It does not reserve a vehicle, crew, date or price. A service becomes confirmed only when Shepherd issues written confirmation and any stated booking requirements are met.
3. Information you provide
You agree to provide accurate contact, address, access, inventory, specialist-item and company information. Disclose stairs, lifts, restricted roads, long carrying distances, heavy or fragile items, garages or backrooms used for storage, and any site rules that could affect the work.
4. Products and Eco Rental Boxes
Website prices and availability may change before confirmation. A shop or rental request is not a completed sale. Shepherd will confirm stock, delivery or collection, rental period, deposit where applicable, payment instructions and return conditions before payment.
5. Acceptable use
Do not submit unlawful, misleading or abusive content; interfere with site security; attempt unauthorised access; or use automated tools to overload or extract protected site data.
6. Customer content and testimonials
Testimonials are published only through Shepherd’s consent and approval process. The customer may ask Shepherd to correct or withdraw a first-party testimonial by contacting the business. External platform reviews remain subject to the relevant platform’s terms.
7. Privacy and communications
Shepherd processes personal information to respond to requests, prepare quotes, manage orders and operate the service. Read the Privacy Notice. Marketing consent, where requested, is separate and optional.
8. Website availability and liability
Shepherd aims to keep the website accurate and available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by South African law, Shepherd is not responsible for indirect loss caused solely by use of, or temporary inability to use, the website. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Intellectual property
The Shepherd name, branding, website design, original copy, photographs and code may not be reused commercially without written permission, except where another owner is identified.
10. Contact and governing law
These terms are governed by South African law. Questions may be sent to admin@shepherdremovals.co.za or discussed on 066 201 4655.
